St Loye’s hosts final networking event of 2015
Tuesday 15th December saw Transitions hold its final networking event of 2015 and welcomed its largest attendance to date.
St Loye’s Foundation project Transitions provides support to the Armed Forces community, delivering a broad range of services helping individuals gain meaningful long-term employment.
The aim of the event is to bring together service providers who support the Armed Forces community and improve inter-agency referral, signposting and mutual understanding.
National Manager of Transitions, Mark Littlewood said: “This was our final Armed Forces Community Networking Event of 2015 which has throughout the year increased in terms of attendance and become a resounding success.”
“We had more than fifty attendees including Veteran’s and Service Providers, and employers who continue to find the event beneficial with regards to making new contacts and renewing old ones”
Organisations which attended included Help for Heroes, The Royal British Legion, SSAFA, Running Deer, Devon County Council, Treefish Training, Devon Air Ambulance, Transplant Mastertrain and many more.
